Team & Factory Up Program FAQ
How do I apply for team sponsorship?
- Create an account: The Team Manager must register at boxcomponents.com using the main team email address. No account can delay the application process.
- Submit your application: Complete the BMX Team Application with your team information.
- Wait for your proposal: Our team will review your application and send a sponsorship agreement within approximately 5–10 business days.
- Sign your agreement: Review and sign the sponsorship agreement sent by Box.
- Start ordering: Once Box countersigns the agreement, typically within 3–5 business days after you sign, your team account will be activated and you can begin ordering with your approved team sponsorship benefits.
How does team sponsorship work?
After you apply, we review your team information and determine the appropriate sponsorship level. Approved teams receive a custom sponsorship proposal outlining their program benefits and requirements.
Once the agreement is signed and countersigned, the approved sponsorship level is activated on the team's Box account.
What are the team sponsorship criteria?
We consider:
- Years in competition
- Number of riders on the team
- Jersey design and Box logo placement
- Race schedule and participation
- Social media activity and consistent tagging of @boxbmx
Professionalism, consistent use of Box products, brand representation, and overall program participation are also considered for renewals and future sponsorship opportunities.
What are the team sponsorship levels?
- Box One Team / Factory: 35% team discount
- Box Two Team / Intermediate: 25% team discount
- Box Three Team / Novice: 15% team discount
Sponsorship level is determined by Box based on the team's application and program criteria.
Can a team's sponsorship benefits be revoked?
Yes. Team sponsorship benefits are intended only for approved team use through boxcomponents.com. Abuse of the program, including attempting to use Box team pricing to obtain matching discounts through third-party vendors, may result in suspension or removal from the program.
Do teams pay for shipping?
Yes. Teams are responsible for shipping costs unless their order qualifies for a current Box shipping promotion.
Can team orders be returned?
Team sales are final unless otherwise approved. If Box shipped the incorrect product, please contact orders@boxcomponents.com.
Standard Box warranty policies still apply to eligible warranty claims. Bike shop teams may be subject to separate return terms.
Can international teams apply?
Yes. International teams may apply.
International applicants may be asked to provide a reference from the nearest authorized Box distributor in their country. You can view our Global Distributor List here.
