Box One X5 Fork
All Box One forks are engineered and crafted using our Oversized Technology. These forks are the single most important component in the quest for bike control. We’ve moved carbon from areas of low stress to areas that handle high load. Those muscular shoulders aren’t just for looks as they are integral to achieving superior steering stiffness. When combined with Box’s other Oversized components, you’ll experience heightened responsiveness and reduced latency.

Key differences: This particular model fork pushes our Oversized Technology to the extreme as it includes the 1.5 to 1-1/8 inch tapered 7000 series aluminum steerer tube

Box One X2 Fork

All Box One forks are engineered and crafted using our Oversized Technology. These forks are the single most important component in the quest for bike control. We’ve moved carbon from areas of low stress to areas that handle high load. Those muscular shoulders aren’t just for looks as they are integral to achieving superior steering stiffness. When combined with Box’s other Oversized components, you’ll experience heightened responsiveness and reduced latency.

Key differences: This particular model fork is tailored for larger-sized racers and also takes our application of Oversized Technology one step further as it includes a tougher 1-1/8 inch chromoly steerer tube and stiffer 20mm through-axle cold-forged dropouts.

Box One M35 Crankset
All Box One and Two cranksets are engineered and crafted using our Oversized Technology. we all know that there is no use pushing hard on your pedals if you can’t deliver most of that power to the rear wheel. During the creation of our cranks, we were obsessed with Power delivery AKA pedaling stiffness. To reduce lateral deflection at the bottom bracket we chose to enlarge the spindle and the crank arm’s interfaces. We robbed material from unloaded sections to reinforce these zones of high stress. Not only are you going to be more efficient with power delivery, but you’ll also feel the instant response of acceleration. Seen through another lens, less energy will be required to achieve the same elapsed time.

Key differences: The Box One M35 crankset takes the oversized spindle action to an extreme with a colossal 35mm diameter cross-section courtesy of Praxis™. That dimension might seem massive, but we’ve also employed the use of cold-forged 7075 T6 aluminum. That's an alloy that delivers low mass but that also flirts with the toughness of steel. We then grind that spindle with the kind exactitude you’d expect from medical equipment. The very prominent crank arms are hollow-forged with much of the wall thicknesses pushed to high-stress zones. A stabilizer ring acts as an anti-twist brace between spider legs. A precision CNC-machined Chromoly/alloy self-extracting crank bolt system secures the package. Remember, you’ll need a modern frame to cope with this kind of technology.

Box One M30-M Crankset

Key differences: The Box One M30 crankset is just as tyrannical as its big brother the Box One M35. Since it's designed for the smaller rider the now 30mm spindle is as extreme to a smaller rider as the 35mm is to a burly world champion. The crank arms are hollow-forged but reduced in size for their application. It is possible to add too much stiffness where the rider will not feel the benefits. Going beyond that point simply adds material which is surplus weight. We’ve removed the stabilizer rings from the spider and removed unneeded material from its legs. These cranks are engineered for the smaller-sized racers.

Box Two M30-P Crankset

Key differences: The Box Two M30-P crankset is a slightly less acute embodiment of our Oversized technology for cranksets. We squeeze in a show-stopping Praxis™ made 30mm that’s been cold-forged from 7075 T6 aluminum and then painstakingly ground to precision. You’ll be relieved to know this will all fit in a European bottom bracket. The crank arms and spider are poached from the Box One M35 model and as a result, you get all that hollow-forged generosity to help you put that power down. These cranks are engineered for the larger-sized racers.

Box Two Tapered Headset
All Box headsets are engineered and crafted using our Oversized Technology. As we follow the load paths down the handlebars, through the stem-to-bar interface, we arrive at the headset focal point. Since any steering stiffness can easily be lost to headset play, we have concentrated our attention on manufacturing tolerances and quality of materials for the bearing, cnc bearing cover, and crown race. Now that this junction is steadfast you can rest assured that your cockpit’s steering stiffness will transfer on to the fork. When combined with Box’s other Oversized components, you’ll experience heightened responsiveness and reduced latency.

Key differences: In this particular model headset we’ve gone to a 1.5” bottom race to fill a tapered head tube. This mates with our oversized X5 carbon fork. Larger and smoother contact areas spread the load effectively and counteract flex.

Hex Lab Carbon Handlebar
All Box handlebars are engineered and crafted using our Oversized Technology. Handlebars have a dual purpose as they contribute to both steering and pedaling stiffness. By strategically varying wall thicknesses and tube diameters, we have moved material from 3 low-stress areas to zones of high load. This has greatly minimized twist and contributed to responsiveness. Concurrently we have increased pedaling stiffness by providing a backstop to the “lifting” phenomenon. There is no point pushing hard on your pedals if you can’t pull up on your handlebars and deliver that power. Power can easily be lost to handlebar-deflection and the consequences can lead to poor power delivery and steering control. When combined with Box’s other Oversized components, you’ll experience heightened responsiveness and reduced latency.

Key differences: This particular model handlebar pushes our Oversized Technology to the extreme as it makes use of carbon fiber to run through those tapered zones. Say good-bye to deflection. These bars are engineered for the smaller-sized racers.

Weight Limit: Meets or exceeds EN Racing 14765 Standard.

Box One Alloy Triple Taper Handlebar

There is no point pushing hard on your pedals if you can’t pull up on your handlebars and deliver that power. Power can easily be lost to handlebar deflection and the consequences can lead to poor power delivery and steering control. When combined with Box’s other Oversized components, you’ll experience heightened responsiveness and reduced latency.

Key differences: This particular model handlebar is tailored for medium-sized racers so we decided to use hardened aluminum alloy to reduce unnecessary mass

Box One V-Brakes
For Box braking we’ve limited the use of our Oversized Technology to the V area since the levers need to be minimalist and largely act as a remote for the V-Brakes. To reduce lateral deflection at the V we chose to enlarge the pivot areas and arms while tightening tolerances at their interfaces. We robbed material from unloaded sections to reinforce these zones of high stress. Not only are you going to be more efficient with brake power delivery, but you’ll also feel the instant response of deceleration.

Key differences: The Box One V-Brake are the only brakes in the Box line-up to be blessed with Oversized Technology. They are also the only model to use sealed precision bearings to further reduce non-rotational movement. The 108mm long-reach brakes are excellent for BMX, mountain, city, urban and tandem bicycles using linear-pull-compatible levers. The 85-mm short reach (AKA mini-V) brakes are an excellent choice for cyclocross or drop-bar gravel bikes.

Box Two 35mm
Several of the upper tier Box bottom brackets were engineered using our Oversized Technology. These were developed in concert with our crank sets. We all know that there is no use pushing hard on your pedals if you can’t deliver most of that power to the rear wheel. During the creation of our bottom brackets we were obsessed withPower delivery AKA pedaling stiffness. To reduce lateral deflection we chose to oversize the bottom bracket and therefore subsequently enlarged the spindle and the crank arm’s interfaces. This made room for larger bearing rings contributing to a vast increase in contact area. We robbed material from unloaded sections to reinforce the zones of high stress. Not only are you going to be more efficient with power delivery, but you’ll also feel the instant response of acceleration. Seen through another lens, less energy will be required to achieve the same elapsed time.

Key differences: The Box Two M35 bottom bracket takes the oversized effort to an extreme with a colossal 35mm diameter cross section courtesy of Praxis™. That dimension might seem massive, but we’ve also employed the use of Enduro’s burly but smooth gliding precision bearings to support that decision.Remember, you’ll need a modern frame to cope with this kind of technology.

Key differences: The Box Two M30 bottom bracket is a slightly less acute embodiment of our Oversized technology seen in the M35. Generously sized ABEC-5 bearings help reduce power loss to defection. The larger 30mm cross section is designed to mate up with the rest of the M30 line of Oversized crank sets.

Hex Lab 1 Inch Stem
All Box stems are engineered and crafted using our Oversized Technology. As we follow the load paths down the handlebars we have focused our attention on the stem-to-bar interface. Since the Oversized handlebars have an increased wall thickness and tube diameter in this sector we have reciprocated with an augmented stem interface with greater surface area. We’ve done this by moving material from low stress areas. This has greatly minimized twist and contributed to responsiveness. As the stem is mated with the handlebars we have contributed to increased pedaling stiffness by providing a backstop to the “lifting” phenomenon. There is no point pushing hard on your pedals if you can’t pull up on your handlebars and deliver that power. Power can easily be lost to handlebar-to-stem deflection and the consequences can be poor power delivery and steering control. When combined with Box’s other Oversized components, you’ll experience heightened responsiveness and reduced latency.

Key differences: This particular model stem pushes our Oversized Technology to the extreme as it maximizes the shift of material from low stress zones to the Oversized interface. These stems are engineered for the smaller-sized racers.

Weight Limit: Meets or exceeds EN Racing 14765 Standard.

Box One Center Clamp
All Box stems are engineered and crafted using our Oversized Technology. As we follow the load paths down the handlebars we have focused our attention on the stem-to-bar interface. Power can easily be lost to handlebar-to-stem deflection and the consequences can be poor power delivery and steering control. When combined with Box’s other Oversized components, you’ll experience heightened responsiveness and reduced latency.

Key differences: This particular model stem not only shifts material from low stress zones to the Oversized interface, but also moves the clamp to the center and out of your knee’s way. These stems are engineered for the larger-sized racers.

Box One Front Load
All Box stems are engineered and crafted using our Oversized Technology. As we follow the load paths down the handlebars we have focused our attention on the stem-to-bar interface. Since the Oversized handlebars have an increased wall thickness and tube diameter in this sector we have reciprocated with an augmented stem interface with greater surface area. We’ve done this by moving material from low stress areas. This has greatly minimized twist and contributed to responsiveness.

Key differences: In this particular model stem we’ve modulated the Oversized formula to emphasize pedaling stiffness. We have transferred material specifically to sectors that experience sudden stress from pulling up on the handlebars. You’ll feel a difference in your acceleration. These stems are engineered for the larger-sized racers.

Box One Top Load

All Box stems are engineered and crafted using our Oversized Technology. As we follow the load paths down the handlebars we have focused our attention on the stem-to-bar interface. Since the Oversized handlebars have an increased wall thickness and tube diameter in this sector we have reciprocated with an augmented stem interface with greater surface area. We’ve done this by moving material from low stress areas. This has greatly minimized twist and contributed to responsiveness. Power can easily be lost to handlebar-to-stem deflection and the consequences can be poor power delivery and steering control. When combined with Box’s other Oversized components, you’ll experience heightened responsiveness and reduced latency.

Key differences: In this particular model stem we’ve tailored the Oversized strategy to favor utility and access. The geometry has been altered to allow for easy handlebar removal while at the same time scavenging material from low stress zones. Ideal for those who don’t want to compromise on user experience to gain performance. These stems are engineered for the larger-sized racers.

Box Two 20mm Freewheel Hubset 36h
All Box hub sets with axle diameters of 15mm and up are engineered and crafted using our Oversized Technology. For steering stiffness we follow the load paths down the handlebars, through the stem, headset, and eventually to the fork-to-hub interface. To transfer as much of that load from fork to axle we’ve shaped the dropout for substantially more capture of the now oversized 20mm axle. Its the same fundamentals at the rear for pedaling stiffness where we also deploy more substantial diameters to inhibit axle deflection. On both ends the added surface area begs for upsized bearings and consequently we are gifted with materially more contact surface. You’ll put more power to the ground out back and up front you’ll feel in control. When combined with Box’s other Oversized components, you’ll experience heightened responsiveness and reduced latency.

Key differences: The Box Two line optimizes material distribution via a hub shell forging process. Aluminum is engineered away from low stress areas and used to reinforce intersections. In this use case we prioritize stoutness over ultimate mass because power delivery and control trump any benefits that might come from shaving a gram from interfaces.
