SKUBX-DT4-08AMW-KIT

Our Box Four tier is for those people who just want less fuss! You're fond of Prime 9, but know 8 is enough, and surely 11-42T is plenty of range for an 8-speed cassette. Our derailleur still has the Limited Slip clutch but now arrives with a more compact cage. The custom 8-speed chain is built for abuse, although it's sophisticated enough to have its own Wide/narrow chainring. Push through fewer gears with a no-nonsense shifter. This combo will transport you to 1 by territory for less than $200.

Nice groupset

I bought this groups to revive my old 90’s Klein mtb. So far it’s worked out great. Shift quality is smooth and positive. Great way to breathe new life into an older bike! I’m not doing anything hardcore with this bike, but based on the build quality of these parts I would have no fear hitting some more extreme terrain. Installation was fairly easy, ONCE I watched some videos online. The clutch spring is VERY strong and this threw me off during installation. Otherwise, a positive experience so far. Great quality and value here.

Box Four

So far the experience has been amazing, much better and consistent shifts then the MicroShift gear set that came stock. The multi throw downshift is a huge plus!

Very decent

For the price you can’t go wrong. If you are upgrading you driveline from a 3x and don’t want to break the bank, this is definitely for you. Shifters aren’t as precise as my sram but for the money I can’t complain at all. Full marks Box! Good job.

Awesome groupset for the price

I love the price and simplicity of setting up the shifter and once you set up never have to touch it again!! Sadly I did snap it while I was downhilling but thankfully the warranty on these are great and was replaced no questions asked thanks for being an awesome company Box!!

Wow!

This is a **** of a 1x upgrade for under $200! I'm relatively handy and comfortable with wrenching on things, but totally new to really tinkering with bikes. After reading Box's support materials and watching their Youtube video and a few others, installation of this groupset was a breeze. It only took a couple of hours and I know that I could have completed the installation a lot quicker if I had to. Super impressed with the quality of the components. Everything seems built to last and the performance has been great -- crisp gear changes, quiet ride, superb chain tension. Lastly, Box's customer service and support is, in a word, outstanding. They were more than happy to answer my newbie questions and provide guidance. Totally impressed across the board -- thank you!
